U2 Concert, Telstra Stadium, Sydney, Australia.

WOW one of the worlds greatest bands live!

Unfortunately U2 had to cancel their Australia 'Vertigo' tour dates in April (the tickets are printed 1st April) as 'The Edge' had a poorly daughter, who I believe is better now, credit to the guy for putting his family first! Fortunately for us the concert was rescheduled for 11th November 2007 when we were in Aus for Phil and Renee's wedding celebrations.

As part of the 'wedding celebrations' Phil got us tickets in 'owned seats' in the corporate area for the Saturday night gig (Phil and Renee got married on the Friday and I do wonder if this was so they could go and see U2 on the Saturday). This is the largest concert I have ever been to as the Telstra holds 70,000 people and the gig was sold out. James and I were really tired from all the 'partying' we had been doing, but it was an amazing experience and if you want to see a concert go to Sydney, unlike the UK all the transport to the event from Sydney was FREE! and very well managed with no hanging around for ages to catch the 'next train' - well done Sydney!

The photo's are good however they cannot convey the atmosphere or the sheer scale of this event, enjoy.
