Luxor, Egypt.

For our first wedding anniversary we decided to go to Egypt. Whilst in Egypt we visited several temples (Karnack, Luxor and Phyla), had a sunset Felucca sail on the Nile, crossed to the West bank and went for a Camel ride, visited the "Valley of the Kings", "Valley of the Queens" and the "Valley of the Artisans", Took in the Luxor Museum and the Museum of Mummification and still had time to take a train to Aswan and visit the Aswan dam.

Egypt is steeped in history and a wonderful place to visit, you do however get harassed an awful lot by traders, Kaleesh drivers (horse and carriage) and generally anyone who has anything to sell - this can be quite intimidating and you learn very quickly to say "Laa Shokram" (No Thank you).
