This was my first holiday with James, a 7 day holiday in Greece. 

We went in May and on a last minute deal, the self catering package cost £158.00 each, when we arrived in Greece the apartment we had booked was not available so we were upgraded to the 4* hotel half board - marvelous.

Greece was lovely and hot, the hotel was excellent - several bars and entertainment laid on every night, they even had a private water sports centre. The hotel was about half a mile from the nearest town, Kardamena, and we spent most days walking on the island or lazing on the beach. We did a couple of excursions through Sunrise tours, the first a 10 mile boat trip to a volcanic island, complete with dormant volcano - its noisy, hot and it smells, and the second to a traditional Greek night in the mountains - I even got to lead a Greek Dance! 

We had a brilliant time, and the island is lovely, although Kardamena is very tacky touristy, ideal for a weeks break as the flight is only a few hours and the exchange rate is generally good.
